NYCEDC Completes and Releases DEIS for Public Viewing and Comment

New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), as study sponsor, in coordination with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) as joint lead agencies, has completed the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) and has made the DEIS available to the public. The DEIS contains the findings of the environmental analysis for a number of cross harbor rail freight alternatives, including the cross harbor freight tunnel.
